Your daily challenge
Find one mystery baseball player in 20 turns. Ask yes-or-no questions, follow the clues, and make your guess. Come back tomorrow for a new player.
Daily players are selected to make most days approachable but interesting, with occasional easier or tougher mysteries. Difficulty estimates combine player information with eligible game results as evidence grows.
When does the player change?
At midnight in your local time zone. Everyone on the same calendar date gets the same Daily player. People in different time zones can be on different dates.

Your browser remembers today's attempt, including unfinished progress and completed results. Return in that browser to continue or view the result. A round keeps the player facts it started with, even if the data refreshes while you play.

What begins at official launch?
Daily puzzle numbers, the official archive, and streaks tied to consecutive days solved start with the public launch. Private-beta rounds do not start that calendar.
