Simple ground rules for playing and sharing FanSleuth.
About these proposed terms
FanSleuth provides sports trivia for entertainment. These are draft terms for review, not a request to accept a new agreement. FanSleuth operates in the United States. Final operator disclosure, eligibility policy, and the effective date will be confirmed before launch.
Respect other players
Use a nickname rather than personal contact information. Don't submit abusive, discriminatory, sexual, threatening, or otherwise unlawful names, hints, or messages. Don't impersonate someone, expose private information, or use challenge links to harass others.
Fair play and access
Follow the rules shown for your round. Don't manipulate results, bypass access controls or Daily attempt limits, automate abusive traffic, probe other players' records, or interfere with the service. We may restrict access for abuse or security reasons. Report suspected problems privately through Help & contact.
Your questions and challenges
You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You permit FanSleuth to store and use that content to operate your games, deliver challenges you create, display their standings, and improve the service as described in the privacy notice. Only submit content you are allowed to share. Don't include private information about yourself or others.
Answers and availability
Player data, question interpretation, and difficulty estimates may be incomplete or wrong. Report errors so they can be reviewed. Saved games use a snapshot, so their facts may differ from today's roster or statistics. We may update features and rules; continuous availability and permanent storage of progress are not guaranteed. The beta may change before release.
Our work and third-party material
FanSleuth's branding and original design belong to their respective rights holders. Sports names, statistics, linked stories, photographs, and third-party trademarks remain subject to their owners' rights. Links and references do not imply sponsorship. FanSleuth is not affiliated with or endorsed by MLB, its teams, or its players. Contact us with a specific rights concern and the relevant page or material.
No prizes or purchases in this beta
The current beta is free to play, has no paid entries, and awards no cash prizes. Future paid features, if offered, will have separate disclosures before purchase.
Privacy, voice, and outside services
The privacy notice explains saved play and optional voice. Your browser's speech service, email provider, and sharing destinations operate under their own terms. You choose whether to use them.
Your rights and future changes
Nothing in these proposed terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Final terms and their effective date will be available before official launch. Significant later changes will be announced as appropriate.
